Guhagar beach is definitely the prime attraction of Guhagar. A temple town, Guhagar has scores of temples committed to various forms of Lord Shiva and Durga. Gopalgad Fort an ancient fort is located near Anjanvel - 11 KM North of Guhagar beach, along the coast line near the Anjanvel Lighthouse.

Modkaghar Boating Club is located very close to Siddhivinayak Paryatak Nivas. You may hire a pedal boat or a row boat to soak in the peaceful green surroundings of the lake. Boating is popular especially with kids.

Hedvi is famous for the Dashabhuja Lakshmi Ganesh temple and Velneshwar has a beautiful cove of white sand beach and an ancient shiva temple. Famous for the Swayambhu Ganpati Temple, Ganpatipule is located across the Jaigad creek from Tavsal.

Sail down the Vashishti river in a fishing boat to see the palm fringed river side displaying the panorama of simple village life which is an experience in itself. Across the Vashishti river from Guhagar is the stretch of Dapoli beaches famous for its temples and sea forts.

Baug Beach

Baug beach is the northern end of Guhagar beach which was opened up by the Guhagar administration by building a road to the beach. The Guhagar creek meets the sea near Baug beach. Baug beach is about 4 kms from Guhagar town.

Vyadeshwar Temple

Vyadeshwar temple located at the mouth of the pathway to the Guhagar beach is a prominent temple in Guhagar. A Shiva temple built in Panchayatana style Vyadeshwar temple has shrines of Sun, Ganesh, Parvati Vishnu and a statue of Nandi in front.

Valukeshwar Temple

Valukeshwar temple is located in Asgoli the southen most part of Guhagar town. Valukeshwar Devsthan is a very old temple and is believed to be from the times of 'puranas'. There is a pillar in the temple with an inscription of the name of Lokmanya Tilak.
